Cole Applauds Senate Confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to Supreme Court

Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04) released the following statement after the United States Senate voted to confirm the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court of the United States.

"Amy Coney Barrett will make a fantastic Associate Justice on the Supreme Court of the United States, and I am delighted that the Senate confirmed her nomination. Not only is she immensely qualified when you look at her educational and career credentials alone, but her confirmation hearings proved to everyone watching that she is incredibly sharp and knowledgeable. I applaud President Trump for nominating such a brilliant person and great American to serve on the highest court in the land. As she has done throughout her impressive career, Associate Justice Barrett will indeed be an ardent defender of the Constitution when she assumes her seat on the bench of the Supreme Court."
